Turkish president orders ruling party to organize metaverse forum
Recep Tayyip Erdan, Turkish President, and officials from the ruling Ak Party met this week to discuss metaverse. The president called for extensive research.
According to a Daily Sabah report, Erdogan has apparently urged the Ak Party study the metaverse, which includes cryptocurrencies, as well as how transactions are made using them.

The metaverse is becoming more popular in Turkey. Some reports claim that thousands of virtual territory in Turkey have been bought in game-based metaverse platforms. Most of them are in Istanbul’s historic capital.
